Jeremiah 5:3 NKJV
O LORD, are not Your eyes on the truth? You have stricken them, But they have not grieved; You have consumed them, But they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to return.
One of the sins of God’s people:
They have refused to receive correction

Jeremiah 5:4 NKJV
Therefore I said, “Surely these are poor. They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the LORD, The judgment of their God.
Their Foolishness and poverty stems from the fact that they don’t know the way of the LORD.

Jeremiah 5:13 NKJV
And the prophets become wind, For the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them.”
A prophet of the LORD must be grounded in the word
For a prophet to be effective, he or she must be rooted and grounded in the Word of God

Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts:
“Because you speak this word,
Behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire,
And this people wood,
And it shall devour them.
Father, in the name of Jesus, make Your words as fire in my mouth. (Jeremiah 5:14 NKJV)

Jeremiah 5:31 NKJV
The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?
A priest of the Lord is not to rule by his own power but by the Lord’s power. Otherwise his rule becomes soulish.

Jeremiah 5:25 NKJV
Your iniquities have turned these things away, And your sins have with held good from you.
These things….what are they?
Good is withheld. …Because of sins prosperity is withheld
Sin stops the flow of blessings in our lives. I want to warn you by the Holy Spirit, if you are knowingly living in sin you will not see your appointed harvest. The anointing of God will not be able to touch your life and body unless you repent.

Jeremiah 5:22 NKJV
Do you not fear Me?’ says the LORD. ‘Will you not tremble at My presence, Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, Yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.
This is a good verse to claim against tidal waves or a Tsunami
