Then the Lord said to Moses, “Do not fear, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people and his land. (Numbers 21:34)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. (Psalm 27:1-3 )

People around us are gripped with fear. May be you also may be living in fear. Have you noticed that we live in a fear-based society? Just turn on the news or read the newspaper, and you’ll see that doubt and fear have peaked and become the pattern for millions. People have been deceived into believing that fear is just as normal as breathing. Fear is anything but normal!

Fear is actually tainted or contaminated faith. While faith is a practical demonstration of confidence in God and His Word, fear is a practical demonstration of unbelief and doubt towards God’s Word. If we want to be connected with God, we’ve got to have faith. Conversely, we must consciously realize that if we are void of faith and full of fear, we’re actually acting out contrary to the Word of God. Just as God uses faith to gain access into our lives, satan perverts faith and uses fear to gain entry into our lives. Fear opens the door for the devil to enter.

It’s very important that you uproot fear and the spirit of doubt from your life. Do whatever needs to be done to abolish fear from every area of your life, now! Pray and ask God to lead you to the source of your fears. Then apply the blood of Jesus to those areas of your life where you have to deal. Speak the Word of God over those situations of your life and uproot those roots of fear from your life.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for the promises and blessings that you have spoken regarding me in Your Word. Hence I can walk with confidence into my future without fear and doubt. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
