Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nation, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10)
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-13)
Many people pray but the sad part is that after prayer they keep doubting. They are still worried about their problems as they were before praying. As such they do not allow God to deal with their situation.
Is the world crumbling around you? Don’t flinch in your faith towards God. Stand still not because of self-made confidence but because you know who God is. In this world troubles won’t vanish but when storms are brewing on the horizon, buckle up and trust God to guide you through.
Everything may not work perfectly according to plan. And yet, we do not have to respond like the world does with anger, depression and worries. These things cannot change even the smallest thing about us. Instead of working things our way get into His presence. Romans 8:28 says, “We know that in all things God works for good with those who love Him, those whom He has called according to His purpose.”
There is a purpose even behind our trials. God won’t allow hardships to come His childrens way without good reason. God is not an absent God who having created us will never leave us or forsake us. Whatever situation you are in be sure that God is working it for your good. God is at work and can be sure He does good job at His work, so relax.
Confession: I love God and am called according to His purpose. Hence, I know that in all things God works good for me.
