Moreover, you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. (Exodus 18:21)

And so it was, on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people; and the people stood before Moses from morning until evening. (Exodus 18:13)
When I find where you are willing to invest your time, I know what you love. That is why Moses was willing to counsel people from daylight to dark—he loved his people with all his heart. (Read Exodus 18:13-14.)
So Moses heeded the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he had said. (Exodus 18:24)
The humility of Moses is seen in that he was teachable and willing to learn even from a person who did not have the supernatural experiences that he had.
