“Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart, you shall take My offering. (Exodus 25:2)
Willingly, not out of force
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
The Purpose of the Offering
And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. (Exodus 25:8)
To build the Tabernacle so that God could take residence. In today’s times, it would be to build the Kingdom of God and spread the Gospel.
According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it. (Exodus 25:9)
The pattern of our lives must be from the Lord.
The pattern of our ministry must be from the Lord.
Then, the glory of God will rest upon whatever we do.
