Family Salvation
And Moses said, “We will go with our young and our old; with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we will go, for we must hold a feast to the Lord.” Then he said to them, “The Lord had better be with you when I let you and your little ones go! Beware, for evil is ahead of you. Not so! Go now, you who are men, and serve the Lord, for that is what you desired.” And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence. (Exodus 10:9-11)
The Pharaoh allowed the men to go but not the women, children and the herd. We must worship the LORD with everything we have. Moses rightly refused this deal. He would allow no compromise.
Now therefore, please forgive my sin only this once, and entreat[a] the Lord your God, that He may take away from me this death only. (Exodus 10:17)
The Lord used tiny locusts to bring Pharaoh to his knees. God can and will use tiny insignificant things to bring mighty things to their knees.
The Enemy Always Tries to Hinder Our Ability to Worship
Then Pharaoh called to Moses and said, “Go, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be kept back. Let your little ones also go with you.” (Exodus 10:24)
Again Pharaoh allows everyone except the herd to go with them. Moses rightly again refused the deal because the Pharaoh wanted to curtail Israel’s ability to worship the LORD.
But Moses said, “You must also give us sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God. Our livestock also shall go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind. For we must take some of them to serve the Lord our God, and even we do not know with what we must serve the Lord until we arrive there.” (Exodus 10:25-26)
When satan attacked Job he attacked the animals because he was hindering Job’s ability to worship(Job 1)
Many times, the attack of the enemy is on the Choir team of a church or ministry. The enemy will try and do everything to hinder your ability to worship.
