I taught Ephraim to walk,
Taking them by their arms; (Hosea 11:3)
This verse is a wonderful picture of God the Father teaching His children to walk with Him similar to a human parent teaching their own toddlers to walk.
The Lord clearly says that He will spare no effort or expense to teach His children to walk in the safe paths of life. It is only because of the Father’s heart, that we can be saved and have eternal life.
But they did not know that I healed them. (Hosea 11:3)
Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away [unnoticed] since there was a crowd in that place. (John 5:13)
Though they call to the Most High,
None at all exalt Him. (Hosea 11:7)
Is it possible to pray and not exalt the LORD?
Yes when prayer is all about us and not about Him
God says, “You come to me in prayer and you launch into your petitions for all your needs, as if it is all about you. You never take the time to worship me and lift my name.”
How can I give you up?
My heart recoils within Me; My compassions are kindled together. (Hosea 11:8)
It is because of the Compassion of God that He will not give up on you.
