You shall surely let the mother bird go, and take only the young, that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days. (Deuteronomy 22:7)
How you treat animals also has an effect on your lifespan
You shall not plow with an ox [a clean animal] and a donkey [unclean] together. (Deuteronomy 22:10)
An ox and a donkey are different species with unequal strength, disposition, and ability.
This is a principle one needs to observe when we are looking to get married.
“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness” (2 Corinthians 6:14)
If a man is found lying with another man’s wife, they shall both die, the man who lay with the woman and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel. (Deuteronomy 22:22)
The Pharisees, brought the woman who was caught in adultery but they did not bring the man. I suspect that man who was caught was a Pharisee - one of their own.
