“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. (Deuteronomy 28:1)
Blessings primarily come because of obedience to the voice of the Lord – The Word of God
Confession: "The LORD will open to me His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to my land in its season, and to bless all the work of my hand. I shall lend to many nations, but I shall not borrow. (Deuteronomy 28:12)
"And the LORD will make me the head and not the tail; I shall be above only, and not be beneath, I will heed the commandments of the LORD my God, which He has commanded me today, and I will be careful to observe them. (Deuteronomy 28:13)
I shall not turn aside from any of the words which He commands me this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them. (Deuteronomy 28:14)
You shall carry much seed out into the field and shall gather little in, for the locust shall consume it. (Deuteronomy 28:38)
This scripture was fulfilled in Haggai 1:6
Much seed is sown but very little harvest is gathered because of the locusts
Prayer: Every evil locust chewing my seed die in the name of Jesus
In the morning you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were evening!’ And at evening you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were morning!’ because of the fear which terrifies your heart, and because of the sight which your eyes see. (Deuteronomy 28:67)
Fear can also have its roots in disobedience.
