“Though I speak with the tongues of men… (1 Corinthians 13:1)
The tongues of men are the ability that God gives a person to be able to speak in a language that he does not know.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all…. to another different kinds of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:7,10)
Many years back, a preacher once went to preach the Gospel in Russia. Being a white man he did not know the local language of the region. He hired a secular translator and decided to preach the Gospel. One day, while he was speaking about the blood of Jesus, the preacher said, “The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.” The Russian translator heard this and shook his head in disgust and threw the mike saying, “This is all nonsense” and went away leaving the preacher stranded on the platform. Tears started rolling from the preacher's eyes as he did not know what to do then. He cried saying, “Lord you sent me to Russia”.
Suddenly his mouth started shaking and he started preaching the gospel in fluent Russian and a great revival happened there. Signs, wonders and miracles took place and a great number of people turned to the Lord. As soon as he got down from the stage the people came to him and said, “We didn’t know you spoke Russian so fluently”. After that he could not speak one word of Russian.
I believe one of the reasons God does this is to show the people that He knows their language and identifies with them just as it happened on the day of Pentecost. Now all of this depends on the Holy Spirit. He is the author and the director of it all.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the wonderful
blessing and the refreshing of Your Spirit which I
experience today as I speak in tongues; my
life is transformed, and my spirit is conditioned for success, dominion and victory, in the Name ofJesus. Amen.
