Confessing the Word
Genesis is the book of all beginnings. If you want to understand marriage, wealth, you need to go to the book of Genesis. If you want to understand the book of Revelation you need to go to the book of Genesis. If you don’t understand Genesis you don’t understand life itself.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3)
Maybe your life, your business, your career is without form and void. All you see is darkness and no hope. The devil is a liar. He tells you that God has forsaken you and nothing good will happen to you. But notice, the Spirit of God was hovering upon something that was without form and void. God is an ever-present God. He will not give up on you.
But that darkness will not leave unless you activate a few things in your life. Let me explain.
Just because the Spirit of God was moving over something that was dark and formless did not change anything. Nothing really happened until the word of God was spoken. Then God said, “Let there be light”.
The word had to be spoken before life could manifest. The same principle applies to every area of your life where you want God to manifest. Let’s say you praying for a job, spiritual growth etc. Confess the word relating to these areas. (You can click Daily Confessions on the Noah App and confess the word of God as per your need) Open your mouth and speak over your situation with authority only then there will be order in your life.
The less we understand how God functions the more frustrated we become with our Christian journey. Then we end up blaming God, upset with Church and some even leave the church.
Confession
I possess continual guidance for I confess, “The Lord shall guide me continually” (Isaiah 58:11).
I possess the peace of God for I confess, “The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
I possess freedom from fear for I confess, “I the Lord thy God will hold my right hand, saying unto me, Fear not” (Isaiah 41:13).
