Tell Jesus Everything
They Told Jesus Immediately
The Bible says:
“But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once.” (Mark 1:30)
Notice something very important here. The moment they saw the problem, they told Jesus immediately. They did not wait. They did not try to solve the problem on their own first. They simply went to Jesus and informed Him.

This teaches us a powerful lesson: when trouble comes, the first person we should tell is Jesus.

Many people run to friends, relatives, or social media to share their problems. But the Bible shows us a better way tell Jesus first.

A Hymn Born From a Simple Advice
There was once a man of God who wrote many beautiful hymns. His songs were often inspired by real experiences he had with people.

One day he visited a place where people were living in extreme poverty. While he was there, he met a woman who was deeply depressed. Her pain seemed unbearable.

She poured out her heart to him and cried out in desperation:

“Tell me what shall I do? Oh, what shall I do?”

The man of God felt helpless. He did not know what advice to give her. But suddenly the Holy Spirit gave him a simple yet powerful answer.

He said to her,

“Tell Jesus everything.”

For a moment the woman became quiet and thoughtful. Then suddenly her face lit up with hope.

“Yes!” she said with joy.
“That’s it! I must tell Jesus.”

From that moment of inspiration, a famous hymn was written called “Tell Jesus.”

What Prayer Really Is
Many people think prayer must be complicated.

They believe they must use big words or special religious language.

But the truth is very simple.
Prayer is nothing but telling Jesus everything.

You can talk to Him about:
  • Your fears
  • Your struggles
  • Your mistakes
  • Your dreams
  • Your needs
  • Your pain
Jesus is not distant. He is near, and He listens.

Of course, it is not wrong to talk to trusted friends or family members. But the truth is you cannot tell them everything.

Only Jesus can handle every secret, every burden, and every pain of your heart.

That is why this message is so important:
Tell Jesus everything.

A Lesson From Two Small Children
Let me share a small story.

When I was working as a teacher, I once saw two small boys fighting.

One boy was very tiny. The other was big and chubby. The stronger boy was pushing and bullying the small boy.

The tiny boy could not fight back. Suddenly he shouted:
“My elder brother is in the 8th standard. I will tell him!”
The moment the bigger boy heard this, he immediately ran away.

Why?
Because the tiny boy had someone stronger on his side.

Jesus Is Our Elder Brother
The Bible tells us something very powerful about Jesus.

In Mark 3:34–35 Jesus said:
“Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
In other words, those who follow God and obey His will become part of God’s family.

That means Jesus becomes our Elder Brother.

And our Elder Brother is not weak.
He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

When we bring our problems to Him, we are not talking to an ordinary person.
We are speaking to the One who has authority over sickness, demons, storms, and even death.

Your Breakthrough Begins Here
Many people suffer quietly. They carry burdens alone. They struggle silently.

But the Bible teaches us a better way.

Just as the disciples immediately told Jesus about Peter’s mother-in-law, we must also bring our problems to Him.

Your:
  • healing
  • deliverance
  • breakthrough
  • restoration
  • and prosperity
Often begin when you bring your situation to Jesus.

When you tell Him everything, you invite His power into your situation.

Make This Your Daily Habit
Make this a daily practice in your life.

Every day:
  • Tell Jesus your worries.
  • Tell Jesus your needs.
  • Tell Jesus your struggles.
  • Tell Jesus your plans.
  • Tell Jesus your heart.
Do not carry your burdens alone.

The One who calmed the storm, healed the sick, and raised the dead is ready to listen to you.
So remember this simple but powerful truth:
Tell Jesus everything.

Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 27-28
Confession
I walk in total triumph in every situation, for Lord Jesus has destroyed failure in my life. I am an overcomer and can do all things through Christ. I have victory in Jesus’ name. Amen (Philippians 4:13; 1 John 5:4)
