Intimacy with God
“My grace is sufficient for you…” These words spoken to Paul the Apostle are not just comforting; they reveal a powerful spiritual principle. God’s strength does not compete with our strength it replaces it. The phrase “made perfect” carries the idea of being brought to full completion. In other words, God’s power reaches its fullest expression when human ability comes to an end. This is not a call to weakness, but a call to dependence.
Paul understood something many overlook: God does His greatest work through yielded vessels, not self-sufficient ones. That is why Paul could boldly say he would “boast” in his infirmities not because he enjoyed suffering, but because he had discovered the secret of divine empowerment.
Daniel: A Man Who Refused to Quit
Consider Daniel. Troubled by a vision, he did not ignore it or move on casually. Instead, he set his heart to understand. For twenty-one days, he fasted and prayed. There was no immediate answer. No visible sign. Yet Daniel did not stop.
What Daniel did not know initially was that a spiritual battle had been raging in the unseen realm. From the very first day, Heaven had heard his prayer. But the answer was delayed due to resistance from the “prince of Persia” a demonic force opposing God’s messenger.
This reveals something profound: delay is not denial. There are dimensions of prayer where persistence is not optional it is essential.
The Posture That Attracts Heaven
When the messenger finally appeared, Daniel’s strength left him. He was left trembling, weak, and overwhelmed. Why? Because God was bringing him to a place where human strength would no longer interfere with divine revelation.
There is a posture that attracts Heaven: brokenness, humility, and total dependence. When we come to the end of ourselves, we step into the beginning of God. Many desire encounters, but few are willing to be stripped of their self-reliance.
It is in that place alone, vulnerable, and desperate that Heaven speaks most clearly.
Turning Pressure into Passion
Paul’s life mirrors this truth. Despite being highly educated and spiritually equipped, he did not lean on his intellect or credentials. Instead, he embraced the trials, persecutions, and pressures as instruments that drove him closer to God.
What others would complain about, Paul converted into fuel. Every difficulty became an opportunity for deeper intimacy. Every weakness became a platform for God’s power.
A Call to Seek Him Deeply
Do you desire a personal encounter with God? Do you need divine intervention?
Then set your heart like Daniel. Press in like Paul. Let the pressures of life not push you away from God, but pull you closer to Him. Shut yourself in with Him. Acknowledge your helplessness. Lay aside every distraction.
God is not looking for perfection He is looking for surrender.
Your tears are not wasted. They are seeds. And in due time, they will produce a harvest of miracles.
Seek Him not casually, but intentionally. And you will discover that His grace is not just sufficient it is overwhelming.

Prayer
Father, I want to have an encounter with You. I want to have a fresh vision of You that I may be changed forever. My help is in Your Name. Cause me not to steer away from You due to the pressures of life but let me cling to You more dearly, in Jesus' Name. Amen
