Whose Report Will You Believe?

“Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1)

A man of God was taken up in a vision into heaven during one of his prayer times. During his visit to heaven, he saw a shining book. He asked the Lord what book that was. The Lord smiled and asked him to see it himself. It was the Bible. What he saw astonished him; the Bible was open to one chapter - Isaiah 53.

Today’s verse clearly tells us that many will reject the Gospel message of salvation. Many people reject the message of salvation for various reasons.

Some people are scared of society that if they accepted the message of salvation, they would be ostracized from society. In John 9:22, we see the parents of the blind man whom Jesus healed because of the fear of the Jews, did not confess Him as the Christ. They also feared that they would be put out of the synagogue. Even today, many compromise on the true message of salvation because of the fear of man and society.

Do not be like them. Do you know the man who was healed and thrown out of the synagogue - this man found Jesus waiting for him.

Today, take a firm stand for the Word of God. Your reward is that you will find Jesus. Be like Jairus, who openly fell at the feet of Jesus without bothering about his position and standing in the society, and the end result was that His daughter came to life.
