21 Days Fast: Day 19

DAY OF THANKSGIVING & PRAISE

In 1 Samuel 7:12, we read that Prophet Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Sen, and named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.’ 

In our lives, it’s also important to have memorial stones (or times), like Prophet Samuel, to remind us of the great things that God has done.
 
As the year 2021 draws to an end, you will give thanks to the LORD. If possible (it is), give thanks throughout the day. Refuse to complain and grumble about any situation henceforth. 

Spend some time (at least 10mins) worshipping the Lord. (Sing songs of worship or play some soft worship music to help you worship)

The year ahead (2022) can seem daunting but there is hope because the Bible tells us to "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Thank the Lord for your family members mentioning each member by name (even those whom you are not seeing eye to eye). I know this may require a lot of faith but I tell you it's worth it.

If you are part of the Karuna Sadan Ministry, then thank God for the leaders, the services etc. (If you are part of any other church/ministry thank God for the leadership etc.). This will bring healing and restoration to you.

Father, make me a proclaimer and not a complainer In Jesus’ name.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:14)

I give thanks to the LORD, for He is good: for his mercy endures forever. (Psalm 107:1)

Prophetic Action:

If, the Lord leads you to sow a Thanksgiving Offering into the fertile soil of Karuna Sadan Ministries, then do it. Lift up your offering in your hand, wave it before the LORD and pray throughout the day the following prayer over your seed and only then send it.

“LORD, You are God who remembers. Let my seed speak before Your throne of grace. You have promised not to forget my labor of love. I receive my harvest, In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”
