James 1:4 (NKJV) says, "But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." Through the storms of life, God is refining us into a brand-new creation, a testament to His love and grace.
No matter what trials and tribulations we may face, we must never forget our true value in God's eyes. Lord Jesus did not shed His precious blood for something worthless; He gave His life for you and me, individuals who are infinitely valuable and cherished. As we navigate the storms of life, we must remember that we are a top brand, crafted with care and purpose by the ultimate Brand Manager – God Himself.
God's careful and patient work on our lives is nothing short of remarkable. He lovingly chisels away at our imperfections, refining us into the best version of ourselves. With each challenge we face, He strengthens our character, deepens our faith, and reveals our true purpose.
Do not look down on yourself; instead, see yourself as a unique and valuable brand crafted in the image of your Creator. Remember that each one of us has been fearfully and wonderfully made and that God's love for us is unwavering. He is the perfect Brand Manager, and as we trust in His guidance and direction, we can be confident that He will lead us to our true purpose.
When Jesus calmed the storm, His disciples marvelled at His power, exclaiming, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!" (Mark 4:41). This fear was produced not by the storm but by the calm they now experienced. This incident brings out the truth that every fear can be overcome by the fear of God. Nothing makes us courageous, as does the fear of God. A man of God once said, “Fear God, and you need fear, nothing else.”
Every storm we face in life offers a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of God's nature and power, ultimately leading to a transformative revelation.
A revelation will produce a revolution in your life. A revelation of God's character not only strengthens our faith but also produces a revolution in our lives. It reshapes our perspective and changes the way we respond to challenges.
Some of you faced life-threatening illnesses, with doctors offering little hope for survival. Yet, through the Lord's mercies and divine intervention, you emerged victorious, walking out of the grave like Lazarus, brought back to life. This experience gave you a profound revelation of Jesus as the healer.
Now armed with this newfound understanding, the next time you encounter someone saying, “This is a coffin case.” you confidently declare “No! Jesus is the healer”. This revelation empowers you to stand firm in faith and to be a testimony of God's love, grace, and healing power.
So, as you go through the storm, remember the revelations you have received, and let them fuel your faith as you continue to trust in the One who calms the wind and the sea.
Prayer
Father, I thank You that You are at work in me, and I am complete in You, lacking no good thing. Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance all that you have taught me to overcome the storms I am facing. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
