Marital Settlement, Healing and Blessing

Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” (Genesis 2:18 NLT)

Marriage is a divine institution, and its purpose is fruitfulness, fellowship, and collaboration. Parents have the responsibility to raise their children in the knowledge and ways of God. Those children are like God’s soldiers in the earthly realm. The devil knows the impact a godly home will have on his kingdom, which is why he is doing everything within his power to prevent it.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield;

The Lord will give grace and glory;

No good thing will He withhold

From those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11)

Your iniquities have turned these things away,

And your sins have withheld good from you. (Jeremiah 5:25)

Marriage is a good thing, and God does not withhold good things from people. Whenever you are denied good things, don’t settle for less; it is not the will of God. It is either your sin or the devil that is at work.

What are the common attacks that satan is launching against marital settlement and blessing?

1. Wrong choice

Samson was anointed, but he made many marital mistakes that terminated his ministry. People marry for the wrong reasons. Wrong reasons will always attract the wrong partner. Marry because you know the will of God for your life. The devil can wrongly influence you in going for the wrong person, be careful and spiritual.

Choosing the right partner is more than physical appearance or material possession. You cannot see the spiritual realm with your senses; you must seek the face of God for Him to expose the hidden things and His perfect will to you. Some have married partners that destroyed them or aborted their divine destiny.

2. Delay in marriage or conception

But the path of the just is like the shining sun,

That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. (Proverbs 4:18)

Delay is not the will of God for our lives. God wants us to keep shining, rising, and moving from glory to glory. Anything below this is from the wicked one.

3. Train them young

Train up a child in the way he should go,

And when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

⁴ Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,

So are the children of one’s youth.

⁵ Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;

They shall not be ashamed,

But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. (Psalm 127:4-5)

If parents succeed in training their children in the way of the Lord, those children will become generals for God. The devil is fully aware of the seed of greatness in every child, and he aims to capture their minds when they are still very young. Prayerfully protect your children, and also ensure you put the right values in them. The devil is attacking the minds of many children in the school among their peers with devilish music and crap on social media.

If all you provide for your children is academic and material provision, the devil will take advantage. You must train them up spiritually as well.

4. Divorce

Therefore, what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Mark 10:9)

Even If you successfully marry the right person, the devil will still try to introduce divorce. Sometimes, he will attack your family with poverty, storms, and disease. He will trigger misunderstandings and anger between you and your spouse. If you are aware of his devices, you will have an advantage over him. Those couples that experienced divorce never intended to divorce on their wedding day. They promised each other, “till death do us part…,” but the devil came with challenges and parted them.

5. Adultery

lest satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11)

Adultery is a major weapon that the devil uses against couples. The devil organizes a strange woman/man to seduce many married couples. The moment the partner falls, the next thing is to hide it. After hiding it, most people will continue in such an act because without exposing it, it is difficult to stop.

A prophet of God who moves powerfully in the realm of the Spirit once said, “One of the door openers to adultery in marriages is when couples watch x-rated content together. Those individuals performing such acts are not married couples, and watching them perform an act of fornication attracts the spirit of sexual immorality to the home.” Be very careful.

How to enjoy marital settlement, healing, and blessing

In case you are experiencing pain and trouble in your marriage, God can heal your marriage. Also, if you need a blessing in your marriage or you desire to settle down in marriage, God’s word covers you.

So, what are the things you must do?

A].Develop a covenant mentality

According to Isaiah 34:16, God declared that birds and animals will not lack a mate. If God can take care of the birds and animals, how much more you? You are of more value than the birds and animals. (Matthew 10:31)

If you are single, don’t see marriage as something that will make you complete. Don’t see marriage as an end in itself. Marriage is not what will make you complete; you are complete in Christ. (Colossians 2:10)

B].Grow in love

Love can heal any wounds you have in marriage. Love can bless your family, and it can attract the presence of God into your home. Love is the greatest; it is greater than faith, hope, and power. (1 Corinthians 13:13). One of the ways to grow in love is to spend time in worship. As you do that, the love of God will be poured into your hearts. (Romans 5:5)

C].Develop good character

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. (Romans 5:3-4)

Your character can determine if you will enjoy or endure marriage. Bad character breaks the home and conditions the children for failure in society.

Repeat every prayer missile till it comes from your heart. Only then move on to the next prayer missile. (Repeat it, personalise it, and do this with each prayer point for a minimum 1 minute)

1. In the name of Jesus, I cover my home and all my family members with the blood of Jesus. (Revelation 12:11)

2. I break the power of the devil over my home, my children, and my spouse in Jesus' name. (Luke 10:19)

3. Any attacks against my mind, spouse, and children are hereby destroyed in Jesus' name. (Isaiah 54:17)

4. Any power trying to break my home be destroyed in Jesus' name. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)

5. Lord, heal and bless my marriage. (for those married) (Mark 10:9)

6. Any power covering me from locating my heaven-ordained life partner, be destroyed in Jesus' name. (those praying for a life partner) (Genesis 2:18)

7. Lord, let your favour rest on me, favour for marital settlement and blessing in Jesus' name. (Psalm 102:13)

8. In the name of Jesus, let the spirit of divorce, adultery, and addiction be uprooted from my life and family. (Hebrews 13:4)

9. Father, help me to grow in your love, fear and wisdom in Jesus' name. (2 Peter 3:18)

10. Any witchcraft operations and manipulations against my marriage and family be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus’ name. (Deuteronomy 18:10)

11. Any negative patterns from my bloodline that are causing sickness, disease, divorce, addictions, adultery, and marital pain be destroyed in Jesus' name. (Galatians 3:13)

12. I disconnect myself from evil family patterns in Jesus' name. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

13. I disconnect and destroy any bloodline covenants with demons regulating my father’s house in Jesus' name. (John 8:32)
