OVERCOMING THE BATTLES OF THE NIGHT

"but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way."So the servants of the owner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' "He said to them, 'An enemy has done this." (Matthew 13:25,27,28)

The enemy is doing so many things in the night when people are asleep. God wants us to stay alert and to fight the battles of the night.

Your protection in the midnight is based on what you have loaded your spirit with. If your spirit is weak and light, it will be easy for the enemy to attack.

Dreams are powerful, revealing what is happening, what has happened, or what is about to happen. The enemy roams about in the night, looking for whom to devour. The Scripture we read today reveals that people can sow good seeds, but something else can spring up due to the activities of the night.

Today, we are going to pray, destroy, and overcome every power of the night. There are battles in the night, so as a believer, you must either pray fervently before sleeping or wake up and pray fervently in the midnight. If you lack grace in this area, you can pray to God for the necessary strength.

Exodus 11:4 says, "...Thus says the LORD: 'About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt;"

God also operates at midnight. He judged the land of Egypt at midnight.

At midnight, the enemy can kill through dreams, or plant sickness in people's bodies.

Midnight attacks can manifest through dreams of having sex or eating, which are signs of spiritual attacks. I'm calling your attention to warfare and deliverance so that you can pray and destroy the wicked one's activities against your life, family, and children.

Psalm 119:62, "At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, because of Your righteous judgments."

The psalmist understood the power of midnight. You can rise at midnight to give thanks, worship, and praise God. Acts 16:25-26 tells us that Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God at midnight, resulting in deliverance from the prison.

If you haven't been praying at midnight, I encourage you to start. It can be for 30 minutes or 15 minutes; it depends on your capacity.

Repeat every prayer missile till it comes from your heart. Only then move on to the next prayer missile. (Repeat it, personalise it, do this with each prayer point for a minimum 1 minute)

1. In the name of Jesus, I dismantle and destroy every arrow fired against me at midnight. (Psalm 91:5)

2. Every power of the midnight attacking my glory be destroyed in the name of Jesus. (Exodus 12:29)

3. I frustrate the agenda of the wicked one to kill me; I shall not die in Jesus' name. (Psalm 118:17)

4. Every plantation of sickness in my body, be destroyed by fire in Jesus' name. (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

5. Every disease programmed into my body through dreams, be destroyed by fire in Jesus' name. (Jeremiah 17:14)

6. Power of God, deliver me from every power of the night, targeting my life, spouse, and children in Jesus' name. (2 Timothy 4:18)

7. Any plantation not planted by my Heavenly Father, be uprooted and destroyed in Jesus' name. (Matthew 15:13)

8. Oh Lord, give me grace to rise in the midnight to praise and worship you in Jesus' name. (Acts 16:25)

9. I overcome every satanic power targeting my spirit man when I am sleeping in Jesus' name. (Luke 10:19)

10. Fire of God, pass through my spirit, soul, and body; empower me to pray in the night, protect me when I sleep, and preserve my family and loved ones in Jesus' name. (Thessalonians 5:23)
