Then he (the angel) said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for, from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. (Daniel 10:12)
The Bible says that at the end of Daniel’s three weeks of fasting and praying for an answer from God, the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel and said to him, “your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.”
Daniel did not pray to angels; it was prayer offered to the Father combined with fasting that activated the angelic realm on behalf of Daniel. A powerful angel was released on behalf of Daniel.
Every time you come in prayer, know that you are not engaging in some fruitless activity. Each time you fast and pray, angels are set in motion on your behalf. Earnest fasting and prayer will release angels to bring your dreams and visions to pass.
In Acts 27, the apostle Paul was on a ship with 276 passengers on board. The ship was caught in the midst of a violent storm. The ship tossed like a leaf in the wind and was in danger of splitting into pieces. No stars or light from the moon was seen for many days, and because of the dangerous rocks and quicksand, it appeared that Paul and the passengers would certainly meet their doom.
Paul had been on an extended fast and was praying for God’s intervention. God released an angel on Paul’s behalf. The prophetic message from the angel delivered them from the storm unharmed.
Whenever you fast and pray, angels of God are released on your behalf. Many times, people write to me saying, “I fasted, nothing really happened”. That’s what you think. In the spirit realm, angels are released and are working on removing those demonic hindrances that are stopping your miracles from manifesting in the physical realm.
Keep fasting and praying. You are going to see breakthroughs that will make even your enemies acknowledge that God is at work in your life.
I fear the Lord and do His will; hence the angel of the Lord constantly encamps around me. (Keep saying this always)
