Directly on leaving the synagogue, they came to Simon and Andrew’s house, accompanied by James and John. But Simon’s wife’s mother (Peter’s mother-in-law) lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. (Mark 1:30)
Notice scripture says, “They told Jesus about Peter’s mother-in-law at once”.
There was a man of God who wrote many hymns. His hymns were inspired by the experiences he had. One day while visiting people who were living in extreme poverty met a woman whose depression seemed beyond cure. She poured out her sorrows. She cried out, “Tell me what shall I do? Oh, what shall I do?”
This man of God was lost for words at the pain and the sorrow she was going through. Suddenly the Holy Spirit gave him a word of wisdom. He replied, “Tell Jesus everything.”
For a moment, the woman seemed lost in her thoughts. Then suddenly, her face lit up. “Yes!” she cried, “That’s it! I must tell Jesus.” This is how another of his great hymn was born – Tell Jesus.
Prayer is nothing but telling Jesus everything. Now it’s not wrong to share things with people whom you love and who are trustworthy. However, even then, you cannot tell them everything. This is why this word is for you and me – Tell Jesus everything.
You won’t believe this, but it’s true. During my days as a teacher, I saw two small children fighting. One of them was very tiny; the other was well built and chubby. The chubby boy was pushing this little boy. Helpless, the tiny boy shouted, “My elder brother is in the 8th standard, I will tell him” That’s it, when the boy heard this, he ran away.
In Mark 3:34–35, Jesus declared that those who truly follow Him are His brothers and sisters: “He looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
It is not the mere mental exercise of “believing but doing the will of the Father that qualifies us as His brothers and sisters.
So then, your healing, your deliverance, and prosperity will come when you tell our Elder Brother – Lord Jesus Christ. So make it a point to tell Him everything – daily.

Confession
I walk in total triumph in every situation, for Lord Jesus has destroyed failure in my life. I am an overcomer and can do all things through Christ. I have victory in Jesus’ name. Amen (Philippians 4:13; 1 John 5:4)
