Confessing the Word
I once watched a pre-match interview between two heavyweight boxers? Well, just like most competitions of such magnitude, they spoke boldly before thousands of people about their victory. In fact, you could almost wonder who would win after listening to them talk.
Their words were hot and tough. Each statement was beaming with confidence even before they stepped into the boxing ring or threw the first blow. I wonder what was going on in their minds as they spoke before the cameras with millions of people watching around the world. Who would win this boxing fight?
Do you know why they spoke so loudly and confidently? Each one of them believed that the victory was his, so they said it boldly and loudly. You see, many times, we are taught to believe God for something or for a specific outcome, but we are rarely taught to speak out loud about what we believe.
The bible says, "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)
Do you know what that means? Salvation does not come by just believing in your heart; you must speak it out and confess it boldly and loudly before all that care to listen. Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13, "And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak;" The equation of our faith is not complete until we speak it out.
Friend, what do you believe about your health? What do you believe concerning your finances, your marriage, your academics, or your spouse? Do you believe Jesus can heal you? Do you believe your spouse will change for the better? Do you believe your child will be free from the addiction? Do you believe you will overcome that debt? Do you believe you will be restored? If you do so, then speak it loudly and boldly. Paul said, we believe and therefore speak.
Never mind what you are seeing. Don't give up after seeing that report. Just keep speaking what you believe by faith. Keep saying what you want to see, not what you are feeling. The bible says, let the weak boldly say, I am strong. (Joel 3:10). Even while he is still weak, let him declare that he is strong, and then His strength will start to manifest. Make it your assignment today. Declare boldly what you want to see and in spite of the mockery of men. And you will see it.

Prayer
Father, I thank You for your word today. I pray for the spirit of boldness to speak Your promises over my life without a doubt in my heart. In Jesus' name. Amen
