It is My Season of Uncommon Breakthrough
11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household. (2 Samuel 6:11-12)
In the Old Testament, the ark of God represented the manifest presence of God among His people. But in the New Testament, God's presence is no longer confined to an ark we are His dwelling place.
“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
If the presence of God in Obed-Edom's home transformed his life in just three months, then the presence of God in your life can also bring uncommon breakthroughs. The presence of God has not lost its power—whenever Jesus shows up in the New Testament, extraordinary breakthroughs follow.
This is your season of the same.
What Does It Mean to Experience an Uncommon Breakthrough?
1. A Breakthrough Never Seen Before
An uncommon breakthrough is something that has never occurred in your life or family lineage.
2. Experiencing God’s Miraculous Intervention
It is when God steps into a situation and demonstrates His power in a way that cannot be explained logically.
3. A Notable, Undeniable Testimony
It is a success, miracle, or achievement so striking that no one can deny God’s hand in it.
4. God Making a Way Where There Is No Way
Uncommon breakthroughs manifest when God opens doors that were previously impossible to access.
Biblical Examples of Uncommon Breakthroughs
1. Financial Breakthrough for Debt Cancellation
In 2 Kings 4:1–7, the widow experienced an uncommon breakthrough when God multiplied a little oil until she paid off all her debts and lived on the overflow.
The anointing of God is powerful enough to break financial bondage.
I decree over your life: this is your season of uncommon breakthrough!
2. Shame Covered by Grace
At the wedding in Cana (John 2:1–11), Jesus turned water into wine. This miracle prevented the family from experiencing public shame. It was an uncommon breakthrough of grace and honour.
Where Jesus is present, shame is replaced with glory.
How to Enjoy Uncommon Breakthroughs
1. Pray Until Something Happens
Prayer invites the power of God into your situation. It turns the impossible into possible.
James 5:17–18:
“Elijah was a man with a nature like ours… yet he prayed earnestly… and the heaven gave rain.”
If there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer.
2. Obey the Word of God
Obedience positions you for divine intervention.
Your level of obedience determines your level of breakthrough.
- “Nevertheless, at Your word…” (Luke 5:5)
- “Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5)
When you obey God, you create a pathway for miracles.
3. Never Give Up
Faith refuses to quit, even when circumstances appear hopeless.
Your persistence is often what provokes your uncommon breakthrough.
Romans 4:18–21:
Abraham hoped against hope.
He believed when logic said it was impossible.
He was fully convinced that God could do whatever He had promised.
If you do not give up, God will not fail you.
Prophetic Word
Our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).
He is the God who answers by fire (1 Kings 18:24).
His answers often arrive suddenly and unexpectedly.
All your prayers, sacrifices, and fasting will not be in vain.
You will receive testimonies that will advertise the glory of God in your life.
This is your season of uncommon breakthrough—in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
