How to Build Right Relationships

Lord Jesus was sent on a crucial mission by the Father to Earth. Besides, He had limited time to complete the Father’s mission. Furthermore, Lord Jesus had to recruit and deliver the vision to people around Him so that the work could continue.

How did Jesus determine what kind of people He would and would not have relationships with? Prayer was the key to attracting the right people around Him. Lord Jesus prayed so that He would have the right people around Him. We must learn from our perfect example – the Lord Jesus.

Many rush to the assumption that selecting Judas was perhaps a mistake. In John 17:12, Jesus prayed to the Father: “While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.”

Judas betrayed our Lord. It just goes to show that some relationships can be painful at times and often serve in fulfilling the perfect will of God.

There is one more thing I would like to share. Every day you must cover your relationships with the blood of Jesus and pray that the Lord would strengthen every divine relationship in your life. Why? Every divine relationship has an unseen enemy. Everything that God puts together has an adversary.

Father, surround me with the right people in Jesus’ name.
