Psalm 78:25 tells us, “Men ate angels’ food”
This is a reference to the Manna that the Israelites ate on their way to the Promised Land. The Bible specifically calls it ‘angels food’. If then angels have a special type of food then it is highly probable that they would have a language as well which Paul the Apostle refers to as the ‘Tongue of Angels’
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels (1 Corinthians 13:1)
The above scripture suggests that men have their own tongues and angels have their own tongues. It presents a clear distinction between the tongues of men and that of angels, thus indicating that the two are not the same
When Apostle Paul was writing this to the church in Corinth, he was referring to himself when he said, ‘’If I speak…’’ indicating he had the ability to speak in these tongues of angels.
Are you aware that Angels are released on assignment when you speak in tongues . This ability of human beings to speak in the tongues of angels allows them to effectively communicate with angels.
Talking to someone who does not speak the same language as you do can be intimidating. However, when you are able to speak the same language, this ability makes the communication process easier, Therefore, the ability of men to speak this language of angels is for such a reason, so that men and angels can communicate effectively and God’s purposes and plans can be established.
Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14 Amplified)
Angels are there to serve those who have inherited salvation, that is the person who has accepted Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour.
Now imagine having a helper who does not speak the same language as you. You cannot not do much together. Likewise, if Christians and Angels would not be able to communicate effectively, it would mean a major hindrance to the Kingdom of God. So, God in His mercy gave Christians the language of angels so that communication between the two would enhance the helping relationship.
