The Powerful Three Fold Cord

A threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

This verse is commonly used in marriages; nothing wrong with that. However, there is also a much deeper application.

All throughout the Bible there are prophetic pictures of a threefold cord.

In Matthew 6, Lord Jesus provided a pattern by which each of us is to live as a child of God.

When you give…. (v.2)

When you pray…. (v.5)

When you fast….. (v.16)

Lord Jesus made it clear that fasting, like giving and praying, was to be a normal part of the Christian life. Fasting was to be given as much attention as prayer and giving. When giving, praying and fasting are practiced together in the life of a Christian, it creates a type of threefold cord that is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

Lord Jesus spoke about the thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and hundredfold return in Mark 4:8,20. I believe when a person prays, it releases the 30 fold, when a person prays and gives, it then releases the sixtyfold blessing. But when all three—giving, praying and fasting are part of the Christian life, it releases a hundredfold return. So you see a lifestyle of prayer, giving and fasting will release a hundredfold return. I hear the Spirit say, “get ready for a 100fold return”

So Cornelius said, “Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. Acts 10:30-31

Notice the three fold cord in the life of Cornelius. He was fasting and praying. Besides that he also gave generously. Is it any wonder that Heaven responded by dispatching an angel to minister to him. On the other hand, Heaven also spoke to Apostle Peter to come and share the message of salvation to Cornelius and family.

At Karuna Sadan, we are on a fasting prayer held on 3 days of every week. (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)

The purpose of this fasting:

1.For the spiritual growth of every person and their families connected with Karuna Sadan. (Whether watching live, reading the Daily Manna, on Noah App etc).

2. Also, that all people connected with Karuna Sadan would be supernaturally blessed in their finances, jobs etc.

1.The time of the Fast is 00:00 Hrs (12 O'clock midnight) and ends at 14:00 Hrs (2pm) every day.

2.Drink as much water as you can during this period.

3.You will be receiving the Prayer Points for that Day on Daily Manna itself.

Please pray each prayer point for a minimum of two minutes and more…

4.O Lord, in the name of Jesus, restore seven-fold everything I have lost as a result of spiritual ignorance. (Hosea 4:6)

5.(Lay hands on your body and keep saying this) I speak the life of God into every part of my body in the name of Jesus. Sickness and disease is not my portion.
