Call Upon the Lord

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies. (Psalm 18:3)

David said, “I will call upon the Lord”. Calling upon the Lord refers to prayer. There is an old Chinese proverb that says, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” If you can learn to pray in the right manner, it will be a blessing not only for you and your family but for the generations that follow you.

Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to Me, and I will answer you.” This simply means that if we don’t call to the Lord, He will not answer.

What will happen when we call upon the Lord?

Jeremiah 33:3 (b) says, “I (God) will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Most of us pray, but very often, we are not sure or, rather, not confident that God has really heard us. Let’s say you are praying for a house, and when you have prayed, the Lord shows you in a dream or a vision where your house is and other details. This will birth you in a level of faith and confidence in God that will be noteworthy. Even if there is a delay in the house coming, you will not be shaken or moved. This is because the Lord has shown you already. This is the prophetic dimension of prayer.

The second thing that will happen when you call upon the Lord is: You will be saved from your enemies (Psalm 18:3)

Enemies can be physical or spiritual enemies (like demonic forces). Prayer will bring deliverance to you and your loved ones from enemies (seen and unseen)

There was this family who would begin to see shadows in their home during nighttime. They were frustrated and had tried many means. One day I received a call from them telling me to travel to their home (which was in another state). Due to my busy schedule, I told them that I could not make it. They were greatly disappointed. However, I told them that if they would heed the instructions I gave them, they would receive deliverance.

Reluctantly they agreed. I told them that the entire family had to fast and pray for two days. All throughout the day, they had to anoint their house and spend time worshipping the Lord. On the second day, my phone rang. It was the man of the house. He was shouting with joy, saying, “Pastor Michael, there are no shadows seen in my house. Lord Jesus has set us free.”

My dear friends reading this. God is no respecter of persons. Whoever you are - rich or poor.

If you call upon the name of the Lord:

1. He will show you things

2. He will save you from enemies' physical and spiritual

1. We are fasting (Tue/Thu/Sat) of 2023. This fasting has five main goals.

2.Each prayer point must be prayed at least for 3 minutes and more

3.Also, use these prayer points on the days you are not fasting

Father, by Your mighty power, scatter and destroy every power hindering my progress and the progress of my family members, in the name of Jesus.

Every satanic roadblock hindering my breakthrough, be scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.

Blessed Holy Spirit, empower me to minister to each member of my family. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Financial Breakthrough

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that You will open doors for me and my family members that no one can shut. (Revelation 3:8)
