He is Watching

The eyes of man only see outward actions, but the eyes of the Lord see the inner attitudes of the heart. Nothing is hidden from His eyes. (1 Samuel 16:7)

One day as Lord Jesus sat opposite the treasury in the temple, He saw how the people put money into the treasury. (Mark 12:41) I believe Lord Jesus did not only see the amount the people put in the collection box of the temple but he also saw the inner attitude of the heart with which the people gave to the Lord.

It was amazing that the eyes of the Lord were captured by an insignificant-looking offering of two mites by a widow. It was not the size of the offering that caught the attention of the Lord but the attitude of the widow. This also tells me that your offering has the power to grab the attention of the Lord Himself.

2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro on this earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him”

This is great news for the weak, poor, powerless, and those in need. Are you in need of a miracle? Then know this that the eyes of the Lord are upon you to show up in your situation powerfully provided your heart is faithful to Him.

During the days of Noah, God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth, was corrupt. (Genesis 6:11-12)

But Noah was different. He did not flow with the crowd and sought the Lord along with his family. The bible says, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." (Genesis 6:8)

Someone said, even dead fish can flow downstream but only a live fish can go against the flow. Each day the ungodliness around us is increasing but that should not make us give in.

Instead, we must cling to the Lord more and more like Noah. Remember, nothing is hidden from the eyes of the Lord. Cry out to the Lord daily saying, “Lord, I want to lead a holy life. Help me Lord” The Lord will show Himself strong on your behalf. Even your enemies will be forced to acknowledge God’s work in your life.
