Carrier of Good News

Now it came to pass, in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. (Ruth 1:1)

The Lord had specifically promised the children of Israel that there would always be plenty in the Promised Land if they were obedient to His Word. Therefore, a famine in the land meant that Israel, as a nation, was not obedient to the Lord (Deuteronomy 11:13-17).

And so, because of the famine Elimelech, his wife Naomi and the family moved to the country of Moab. However, when Naomi heard the good news that the Lord had visited His people by giving them bread, she decided to move from Moab (cursed land) to Bethlehem.

Bethlehem in Arabic means "House of Meat."

Bethlehem in Hebrew means "House of Bread."

And they told him, saying, "Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt." And Jacob's heart stood still because he did not believe them. But when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived. (Genesis 45:26-27)

When Jacob's sons told him that Joseph (his son) was alive and was the governor over all that land of Egypt, he could not believe what he heard. It was too good to be true. However, when they told him the words of Joseph and Jacob saw the carts loaded with good things Joseph had sent, he believed the message of good news.

In the same way, when we proclaim the gospel (the good news) to the Jews and the gentiles, we must preach a message that is very personal to them and which speaks to them. Also, they must see and experience the blessings. It is then that their drooping spirits will be revived. That is the power of the good news.

What news are you constantly hearing?

If anyone comes to you saying, "I want to tell you what this one said about you. Just say thank you very much; I will talk later."

If you have a desire to keep hearing what this one said and that one said about you, it means you have insecurity inside of you. You need to be secure in your identity in Christ. So stay away from such people, or the bad news they give you will only make you bitter and depressed. Ultimately, it will take you away from God.

Secondly, what words are coming out of your mouth?

Ask yourself, the words that I am about to speak, will they build a relationship or destroy it? If you are careless in your words, it clearly shows a lack of maturity. The Bible clearly says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) Don't be a gossipmonger.

Make a decision and keep confessing, "I am a carrier of good news. The words that I speak will lift people up and not put them down. My tongue is a life-giving well."

Remember, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is good news, and you are called to proclaim this good news all over the world. If you walk in line with what I have shared, the Lord will use you to bless the nations.

Each prayer point must be prayed for at least 2 minutes and more.

Personal Spiritual Growth

I let no corrupt or unwholesome speech proceed out of my mouth, but only what is good for the building up of others according to their needs, that I may be a blessing to all those who hear. (Ephesians 4:29)

Family Salvation

My inheritance shall be forever. I shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine, I and my family members shall be satisfied spiritually and financially. (Psalm 37:18-19)

Financial Breakthrough

My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) I and my family members shall lack no good thing. In Jesus' name.

Father, Your word says, You shall give your angels charge over us to keep us and guard us in our ways. In the name of Jesus, release Your Holy angels around Pastor Michael, his family, team members and every person connected to Karuna Sadan Ministries. Destroy every work of darkness against them.

Nation

Father, let Your peace and righteousness fill our nation. Let all the forces of darkness and destruction against our nation be destroyed. Let the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ spread in every city and state of India. In Jesus' name.
