The 7 Spirits of God: Spirit of Wisdom

The Spirit of wisdom is the One Who brings you the wisdom of God.

Apostle Paul prayed for the Christians in Ephesus in the following manner:

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, (Ephesians 1:17)

One of the reasons that he prayed in this manner was because though the Ephesian Christians were demonstrating the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they but lacked the maturity that comes through wisdom and revelation knowledge.

This is the same case with many Christians even today. They function powerfully in the gifts of the Spirit but severely lack when it comes to walking in the wisdom and knowledge of the things of God.

Such folk need to pray that God will grant them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Then there will be a much-needed balance.

When wisdom is lacking, people often make the wrong choices. Much of the bad harvest that one is reaping today can be traced to many wrong choices made in the past. However, when the Spirit of wisdom is functioning in you, life will never be boring. It will become exceedingly fruitful and bring honour to the Lord.

Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skilful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God’s Word and life’s experiences],

For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, and the profit of it better than fine gold.

Skillful and godly Wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you can wish for is to be compared to her. (Proverbs 3:13-15 Amplified)

In the New Testament, we have something better than all of Solomon’s wisdom - Christ. He is our wisdom. Jesus referred to Himself saying, “a greater than Solomon is here” (Matthew 12:42)

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30)

In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:3) In other words, all of heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge are embodied in Him.

Now it's one thing to have Jesus as your Saviour and quite another thing to have Him as your Lord. When Jesus is Lord of your life, He will begin to direct your thoughts, your emotions etc. This is when divine wisdom starts functioning in you.

Each prayer point must be prayed at least for 2 minutes and more

Father, I thank you that Christ is my wisdom.

Every area of my life lacking divine wisdom, be filled with Your divine wisdom.

Father, give me the ability to do and excel beyond my contemporaries.

I declare in the name of Jesus that uncommon wisdom and knowledge is my portion In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father, in the name of Jesus, open the eyes and ears of my family members to know You as Lord, God and Saviour. Turn them from darkness to light.

Financial Breakthrough

Father, in the name of Jesus, cause the work of my hands to prosper. Anointing to prosper fall upon my life.
