Tongues the Language of God

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)
 
Notice, Scripture does not say that these signs would follow only those who are Apostles, Prophets and Evangelists. The only condition for these signs to follow you is ‘believe’.
 
A man of God, whom I greatly admire for his insightful teachings, said this in one of his teachings. “It is among the Jewish traditions that when the high priest would enter the holy of holies on the Day of Atonement, he could communicate to God in a language that only he and God understood.
 
This ability to speak in and understand the language of God only occurred when the high priest was in the holy of holies, and after he exited the sacred chamber, he was no longer able to speak that heavenly tongue. Later on, the Jewish rabbi referred to this experience as the ‘Language of God’ Isn’t this interesting?
 
Who can speak in Tongues?
Over the years, I have heard this question asked time and again. The answer to this question is simple!

Anyone who has believed in Jesus Christ as His personal Lord and Saviour and has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit can speak in Tongues. There is no other authentic way.
 
Lord Jesus said, “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” (John 7:38)

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive help to pray the heart of God as I pray in tongues.
