Change Of Level
“May the LORD give you increase more and more,
You and your children.” (Psalms 115:14) (NKJV)
Many people are stuck; they want to move forward but cannot figure out what's holding them back. Today, that invisible barrier shall be destroyed in Jesus' name.
God created us to move forward; we are not meant to stay in one place permanently. The path of the just keeps shining brighter and brighter, which symbolises a change of level (Proverbs 4:18)
Who are the people who need a level shift?
- Anyone that has stayed in the same position for a long time.
- Anyone denied benefits and blessings for a long time.
- Those who have faithfully served others and are divinely due for their settlement.
- Those who have been cheated by others.
- Those who are in the back seat of life.
- Those who have been written off.
- Those with no helper.
- Those who are struggling and toiling.
- Those with the desire to expand the kingdom of God on earth.
Examples of those that experienced a change of level
1. Mordecai
Mordecai’s status was changed overnight; it was something he was not even expecting; it was divine. (Read Esther 6:1-12, 9:3-4)
2. Elisha
The fallen mantle from Elijah and the transference of spirit changed the spiritual level of Elisha. The sons of the prophet came and bowed to him because they noticed that his level had changed. (Read 2 Kings 2:9-15)
3. David
The defeat of Goliath led to a change of level for David. The battles of life are not meant to destroy you; they are to announce you for a change of level.
Saul took him that day and would not let him go home to his father’s house anymore. (1 Samuel 18:2)
Now, therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel. (2 Samuel 7:8)
4. Paul
Paul, who terrorised the church, experienced a change of level and became an apostle for the kingdom. However, for this reason, I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. (1 Timothy 1:16)
5. Joseph
Joseph rose to a position that he was not qualified for by human standards. In a strange land, God made him become the head. (Read Genesis 41:14-46)
How to experience a change of level
God is willing to change the level of everyone, but He will only act by His word. There are specific principles that must not be violated by anyone who wants to experience a change of level. People who enjoyed a change in level in the scriptures demonstrated these principles at various points in time. Let’s look at the core principles.
1. Live with integrity
God selected David and changed his level because he was a man of integrity.
So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands. (Psalm 78:72)
2. Live with the fear of God
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of God will position you for a change of level. Joseph was tempted, and if he had failed the test, he would not have gotten to the palace. You will be tempted with the pleasures of sin; the fear of God must rule your heart if you desire a change of level. (Genesis 39:9)
3. Pray for a change of level
God is ready to change your level if you can pray.
9 Now, Jabez was more honourable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. (1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
4. You need the favour of God.
Esther’s level was changed because she obtained favour more than the other ladies that came for the competition. Favour can qualify you for a change of level.
17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins, so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. (Esther 2:17)
5. Go for a genuine encounter with God
It was the encounter that Moses had with God that changed his status. Moses ran from Pharaoh to the wilderness, but when he had an encounter with God, he became a god to Pharaoh. (Read Exodus 3:2, 4-10)
6. Be a solution to the problems of others
Joseph experienced a change of level because he was a solution to Pharaoh and Egypt. Add value to the lives of others if you want to enjoy a change of level.
7. Go for wisdom
Wisdom is the principal thing, and that was what Solomon asked for. The wisdom God gave to Solomon was what changed his level. (1 Kings 3:5-15)
God can change anybody’s level at any time; don’t give up on God. Serve Him faithfully, and at the right time, He will lift you.
Prayer
Repeat every prayer missile till it comes from your heart. Only then move on to the next prayer missile. (Repeat it, personalise it, do this with each prayer point for a minimum 1 minute)

2. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that everyone on this 40-day-fast would go to a higher level. (Isaiah 40:31)
3. I reject the spirit of failure in Jesus' name. (Philippians 4:13)
4. I receive the grace to be fruitful in all my labours in Jesus' name. (John 15:5)
5. I shall not labour in vain. Neither will my loved ones labour in vain, in Jesus' name. (Isaiah 65:23)
6. Father, connect me to those whom you have prepared for my next level in Jesus' name. (Proverbs 16:9)
7. Father, give me breakthrough ideas for my next level in Jesus' name. (James 1:5)
8. I receive fresh insights for a turnaround testimony in Jesus' name. (Romans 12:2)
9. Father, open new doors of breakthrough for me in Jesus' name. (Revelation 3:8)
10. I receive grace for financial breakthroughs in Jesus' name. (3 John 1:2)
11. Father, open international doors for me in Jesus' name. (Acts 16:9)
