Connecting to the Manifold Wisdom Of God
"and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts." (Exodus 31:3 NIV)
God is a creative God, and we can see it in nature. We can see it in all that He created. Everything is beautiful and wonderfully made. If you look at the birds, the trees, the different types of fish we have, and the animals everywhere you turn, you will see the beauty of creation.
All of this was possible because of the wisdom of God at work in creation. So God is creative, and He wants His children to also be creative. The Scripture says that we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). So one of the characteristics of the mind of Christ is wisdom. Christ is the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24). When we say we have the mind of Christ, we are expected to be creative problem solvers.
Many people are stranded in their finances because they cannot create solutions. The business world thrives on creating solutions and products. If there is a problem, then there is also a solution that can be captured through the spirit of wisdom that will lead to a financial breakthrough.
In our Scripture for today, we see that God fills people with the spirit of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge so that they can be able to create things. Our prayer today is focused on connecting to the manifold wisdom of God so that we'll be able to do exploits in different areas of life.
In Exodus 36, verse 2, it says, "And Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab and every able and wise-hearted man in whose mind the Lord had put wisdom and ability, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work;" (AMP)
You can see from this verse that there are specific people called wise-hearted people. They are the people that God has put the spirit of wisdom into. As a child of God, you have the wisdom of God in you, in the person of Christ. Christ is the wisdom of God, and you have the wisdom of God. So nothing should be too difficult for you. Nothing should be hard for you. Nothing should be a problem for you because the mind you have is the mind of wisdom. It can solve any problem that comes its way.
In 1 Kings Chapter 4, verse 29, it says, "And God gave Solomon exceptionally much wisdom and understanding, and breadth of mind like the sand of the seashore. Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the people of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt." (AMP)
One man's wisdom exceeds the wisdom of Egypt, a whole country. That is what God can do. This wisdom did not jump on Solomon. It was something that Solomon desired in a place of prayer while he was in the dream (1 Kings 3:5-12). So, one of the ways that you can contact the manifold wisdom of God, is to pray and ask God for it.
The second thing from the life of Solomon was that he was asking for this wisdom, not for selfish purposes. He wanted wisdom so that he could lead the people of God. God's kingdom, His people, and His interests were the driving forces that led Solomon to ask for the spirit of wisdom.
Why do you want God to release the spirit of wisdom into your life? It is not for selfish purposes. You must have the kingdom of God at heart so that when it is released, you will use it to build kingdom solutions that will promote kingdom advancements and the establishment of righteousness in the earthly realm. The cure to poverty is the spirit of wisdom because wisdom generates wealth (Proverbs 3:16).
There are three types of wisdom.
- We have the wisdom of God, which is the ultimate (James 1:5).
- We have the wisdom of man, it is based on man's senses and reasoning. And we have sensual or soulish wisdom. (1 Corinthians 3:18-20)
- The devil also displays some measures of wisdom. (James 3:15)
I strongly believe that from today, you will begin to walk in the wisdom of God in all areas of life because the manifold wisdom of God shall be released into your life in Jesus' mighty name.
