and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1 (c) Amplified)
The race of life is not a 100-meter dash; it is a marathon. And to run a marathon, you need endurance. Endurance is patience and persistence combined.
There are times when things are not working well for you. At such times, we need to be patiently trusting in the promises of God, be persistent in doing what we are called to do and not give up.
That’s why suicide is not an option for a child of God; depression is not an option for a child of God. There will be hurdles, there will be failures, and there will be betrayals. But you have an appointed course set before you; run it with patience and persistence.
King Hezekiah was a righteous king who committed to following the Lord wholeheartedly. He sent letters throughout all of Israel, Judah, Ephraim, and Manasseh, inviting everyone to come to the Temple of the Lord at Jerusalem for the annual Passover celebration.
The letter also contained a message saying, “O people of Israel, return to the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” (2 Chronicles 30:6)
But as the runners passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, as far as Zebulun, some of the people laughed at them and mocked them. (2 Chronicles 30:10)
There were mockers then, there are mockers now. Mockers are in every age. Noah was mocked when he set about preparing the ark. Our Lord Jesus was mocked. The runners were mocked. But the good part is they kept on running in spite of the mockers. Mockers will keep mocking, you keep on running. Don’t stop doing what God has called you to do. Be all that God has called you to be.
The Bible says in Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked.”
When we keep doing what God has called us to do, the people whom the LORD has chosen will surely turn to the LORD. You will reach your God-given destination.
11Nevertheless, some from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.12 Also, the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord. (2 Chronicles 30:11-12)
I decree and declare that your family members will be saved. You will be settled in peaceful dwellings. Don’t give up, and start running the appointed race.

Prayer
1. Father, I will not fall, I will not fail and will not be wearied. I will not backslide in Jesus’ name.
2. Father let every challenge and obstacle on my way, be the stepping stones to my breakthrough and success, in life, in Jesus’ name.
3. I shall not die but live to complete my days on earth. I will fulfil my destiny in Christ, in the land of the living, in Jesus’ name. Amen
