Get Out of Debt: Key #2

A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to (Prophet) Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” (2 Kings 4:1)
 
The man left his wife and children in debt. The Bible says, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children” (Proverbs 13:22)
 
I prophesy that’s going to be you and me. What you are doing in this life must not end with you. You and I are called to be a blessing to future generations.
 
So (Prophet) Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” (2 Kings 4:2)
 
The widow answered rather strangely. “I have nothing, but I have something”. God will always use something that He has already given you. God asked Moses what he had in his hand. Moses only had an insignificant-looking rod in his hand. God used that to deliver an entire nation.
 
God used only a slingshot and a few stones to make David famous in Israel. God used only five loaves and two fish (which were probably not even fresh) to feed more than five thousand people. It is my prayer that God will show you what you have. It could be a talent, a gifting; no matter how small, the Lord will use it to bring you out of debt. Receive this word.
 
Then (the Prophet) he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbours—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” (2 Kings 4:3-4)
 
The man of God gives the widow a prophetic instruction. She did not reason how it was going to happen, but she believed in the prophetic word. An instruction you decide to obey determines the future you create. An instruction brings construction. A lack of instruction brings destruction.

I have a prophetic instruction for you.
Write down all your debts on a piece of paper. Each time you pray, use the prayer points in these series and ask the Lord to wipe off that debt. I know this sounds too simple, but it will work for those who believe in this prophetic message.

Repeat every Prayer Missile at least for a minute till it comes from your heart. Only then move on to the next Prayer Missile.
 
1. Lord, open my eyes to see what you have given me.
 
2. Lord, open my eyes to see things others do not see easily. I ask You for divine opportunities.
 
3. Every mountain of debt in my life; in my family be uprooted in Jesus name.
 
4. Blood of Jesus, speak on my behalf, break and reverse the curse of borrowing from my life as of today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
 
5. Every power saying I shall not excel in my family line, you are a liar, die by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
