It is My Season of Uncommon Breakthrough
11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household. 12 Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. (2 Samuel 6:11-12)
In the Old Testament, the ark of God represented God's presence among His people. In the New Testament, the presence of God was no longer limited to the ark; our bodies are now God's temple (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). If God's presence in Obed-edom's life could change his life in three months, God's presence in your life can give you uncommon breakthroughs. The presence of God is still powerful and can turn any situation around. Christ represented the presence of God in the New Testament, and whenever He shows up, there's always a record of uncommon breakthroughs.
What Does it Mean to Enjoy an Uncommon Breakthrough?
1. An uncommon breakthrough is something that has never happened in your life or family lineage before.
2. Uncommon breakthrough means enjoying God's miraculous acts over a situation.
3. An uncommon breakthrough is a notable and undeniable success, testimony, and achievement.
4. It means when God makes a way where there is no way.
Biblical Examples of Uncommon Breakthroughs
1. Financial empowerment for Debt Cancellation
In 2 Kings 4:1-7, the widow experienced an uncommon breakthrough and became debt-free. The anointing of God is powerful enough to bring you out of debt. I decree over your life; it is your season of an uncommon breakthrough in Jesus' name.
2. Shame will be Covered with Grace
The presence of Jesus covered the shame that would have fallen on the newly wedded couples and their family. The miracle that turned water into wine was an uncommon breakthrough. (John 2:1-12). God’s presence makes the difference, and it terminates shame and reproach.
How to Enjoy Uncommon Breakthroughs
- Pray Until Something Happens
Prayer invites the power of God over a situation; it turns impossibilities into possibilities. If there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer.
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. (James 5:17-18)
- Obedience to the Word of God
Obedience positions you for an uncommon breakthrough. Your level of obedience will determine your level of breakthrough.
But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net.” (Luke 5:5)
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”(John 2:5)
Our God is a consuming fire, and He is the God that answers by fire (1 Kings 18:24, Hebrews 12:29). The answer from God comes unexpectedly. All your prayers and fasting shall not be in vain; you will receive testimonies that will advertise the glory of God in your life in Jesus' name.
- Never Give Up
If you don’t believe in God as the God of all possibilities, you cannot enjoy uncommon breakthroughs. Even in hopeless situations, you must remain hopeful; that is how God can step in to change the narratives. Faith will always position you for uncommon advancement. Never give up.
18 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” 19 And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb. 20 Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this, he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. (Romans 4:18-21)
