
Now therefore, command that they cut down cedars for me from Lebanon; and my servants will be with your servants, and I will pay you wages for your servants according to whatever you say. For you know there is none among us who has skill to cut timber like the Sidonians. (1 Kings 5:6)
It also means that Solomon was willing to build this great temple to God with Gentile wood and using Gentile labour. This was a temple to the God of Israel, but it was not only for Israel. Only Jews built the tabernacle, “But the temple was built by Jew and Gentile - both were involved.
You know how my father David could not build a house for the name of the Lord his God because of the wars which were fought against him on every side, until the Lord put his foes under the soles of his feet.
But now the Lord my God has given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil confronting me.

Peace was the first sign to build the house of God
And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. (James 3:18) NLT
The kind of seeds you are planting reveals a lot about you
A peacemaker will plant seeds of peace
A gossiper will plant seeds of gossip
A man or woman of prayer will plant seeds of prayer wherever they go
The kind of seeds you are planting will also reveal what kind of harvest you are going to receive.
All around the world people are trying desperately to find peace.
Peace is not found in doing more but in doing one thing and that is in surrendering to Him. The bible speaks of two sisters, Martha and Mary. Martha was troubled and stressed in seemingly doing more, while Mary made it a point to sit at the feet of Jesus in a state of surrender and humility. This is where she found peace.
