Let me tell you something personal.

One of the pastors on my team today, when I first visited her home, I noticed something unusual.

There were oily handprints on the walls—marks of spiritual oppression. That day, I realised that even those called to lead are not immune to spiritual warfare.

Now, she is anointed and victorious, serving the Lord mightily. But her story reminds us:

Don't assume that only "ordinary people" go through trials.

Even leaders are refined in the fire—and they come out shining because they apply the right spiritual keys.

“When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV)

An Orphan Who Became a Queen

Let’s take a look at Esther, the orphan girl who rose to become Queen of Persia. She had no family, no wealth, and no influence—yet she ended up in the palace of the king.

Was it luck? Favor? Yes—but favour responds to faith. And Esther operated with three powerful spiritual keys:

🔑 Key 1: Expectancy

Esther believed that God would act on behalf of His people. When Mordecai spoke to her about the threat of annihilation, she didn’t panic—she positioned herself in faith.

“Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14

Esther expected that God would intervene, even if she didn’t yet know how. That expectancy moved her to action.

🔑 Key 2: Rising Up

Esther didn’t hide. She didn’t say, “I’m just a girl,” or “I’m scared.” She rose up in courage and took her place.

“Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai:

'Go, gather all the Jews... and fast for me... I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!’” — Esther 4:15–16

She could have stayed silent, but she chose to rise. That rising triggered divine reversal.

🔑 Key 3: Knowing Her Authority

Esther understood that her power wasn’t in her position alone—it was in her spiritual posture.

She didn’t run to the king first. She ran to God in fasting and prayer.

And because she understood her authority in alignment with God's will, the plot of Haman backfired.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper...” — Isaiah 54:17

Church, it’s time to stop relying on your strength and start using the Word of God.

Don’t underestimate the devil. He is not a cartoon frog; he is a fallen archangel, once full of beauty and wisdom (Ezekiel 28:14–17). You cannot fight him in your flesh.

But remember this:

Lord Jesus didn’t fight satan with power—He fought with the Word.

“It is written…” — Matthew 4:4,7,10

Every time satan came to tempt Jesus, Lord Jesus answered with Scripture.

Someone once asked a powerful prophet,

“Papa, how did you receive such an anointing?”

He replied:

“I spoke the Word—again and again and again.”

That’s it. Consistency in declaring the Word builds spiritual authority.

Are you struggling with lack?

Lord Jesus said, “The Son of Man has no place to lay His head.” — Matthew 8:20

He experienced lack, so you could walk in provision. That’s the divine exchange. Every time you speak the Word, you’re activating what Jesus already finished on the Cross.

Lift your hands and say:

“God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory!” — Philippians 4:19

And now declare:

“I will no longer be silent. I will speak the Word!”
