Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (Luke 22:43-44)
To the woman, He said, “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception…Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil, you shall eat of it all the days of your life. (Genesis 3:16-17)
When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He shed blood. Medical science confirms that when a person is in intense pain, his blood vessels break, and blood oozes out of the pores. That is what exactly happened to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.
When you go back to the Garden of Eden, we see how Adam and Eve lost their authority and willpower. So you see, it all began in a garden and ended in a Garden. The authority and willpower that Adam lost in the Garden of Eden, Jesus took back from satan in the Garden of Gethsemane.
If you are going through a struggle, maybe you lost your willpower. Whatever the case may be, you can regain it by saying, “Lord, wash me by your blood. Come into my life. Empower me to do your will”
Jesus prayed to the Father three times to take away the cup of suffering. But later, He said, “Not my will but your will be done.” The willpower, which you have lost, can be gained in Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 50:6 says, “I have offered my back to those who struck me and my cheeks to those who plucked my beard.” The face speaks about honour and favour. Jesus shed His blood from His face so that we could receive honour and recognition through Jesus. His face was marred so that your face would be accepted. Today come boldly before God so that He may restore you. He will mend all your brokenness and make you whole.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for blessing me. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to this world to be sacrificed on my behalf. I receive the blessings that Christ has kept for me. I receive the honour and recognition that comes from You and give You all the glory. In Jesus' Name. Amen
