How to Become a Witness of His Resurrection? - I

Turn with me to Acts 4:33, “And with great power, the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.”

Notice scripture says, “And with great power” I like this, not just power, great power. I prophesy that in Karuna Sadan ministry, we have seen power, but now we will see great power. This is why we cannot get slack in intercession; in our fasting and prayers. The apostles gave witness to the resurrection of Jesus with great power. We need to emulate this in our own lives.

Power can be denied to some extent by the so-called critics. However, great power cannot be denied or ignored. You see, there was a point where the Pharaoh’s magicians could duplicate the miracles and the power that was demonstrated by the man of God, Moses. Then God switched gears, and then Moses did something that forced the magicians to declare, “This is the finger of God.” (Exodus 8:19)

I want you to notice that the magicians didn’t say “the hand of God” but, “the finger of God”. The finger of God is mightier than all the power of men put together. Right there, we can see the difference between power and great power. The Apostles, too, demonstrated great power and gave witness to the resurrection of Christ.

I want to encourage you, dear Pastor, J-12 leader and every person connected with the Karuna Sadan ministry, it’s time to seek the Lord like never before.

There are people who allow small things to dictate their lives. “Pastor, I heard he said this about me. He shouldn’t have said this. I don’t feel like serving anymore.” As long as there are people on this planet, they will keep speaking about you. Haven’t you spoken about others at some point?

“Pastor, they forgot to wish me on my birthday? They wished this one but not me.” Don’t make mountains out of molehills. Rise up in prayer and the Word. There are many people dying in need of encouragement. Will you listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and become a witness of His resurrection? The Lord will surely reward you and your loved ones for this.

“Pastor, no one loves me; I feel so rejected.” Hello! Jesus loves you so much, and His love for you will never change. Isn’t that good enough? When will you rise up and become a true witness of His resurrection? If not now, when? If not you, who?

Lord Jesus clearly said, “Don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? What about my marriage? What about my job? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:31-33 paraphrased)

By allowing the Holy Spirit to work in you and through you, you will become a true witness of His resurrection. And the best part is everything in your life will fall in the right place. Like the Psalmist, you will declare: “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.” (Psalm 16:6)

Father, in the name of Jesus, I need fresh fire from above today. Baptize me with Your Spirit so that I may become a true witness of Your resurrection. Amen.
