And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy (Acts 2:17–18; Joel 2:28–29)
No doubt we are in the last days. Scripture says youth are a major player in God's agenda for the last days. They are not to sit down and watch the prophecy of the last day come to pass, but they are a part of God's end-time army to bring the counsel of heaven to pass. The Bible says, "Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your young men shall see visions." Did you see that? So young lady, young man, your gender notwithstanding, you are captured in God's agenda. You feature in the last day purposes of the kingdom.
Whoever told you that you are too small hasn't read God's blueprint for the last day. Whoever told you that God only looks at adults and not children is ignorant of the end-time move of God in this generation. God says in these last days, you will prophesy and see visions through God's awesome outpouring of the Spirit. A unique outpouring of the Holy Spirit is promised to the youth prior to the return of Christ!
Through the outpouring of the Spirit, you will witness an increase in spiritual visions and dreams. You will have what it takes to reveal the plans of God and expose the strategies of the adversary. In these last days, God is set to empower your eyes to see far into the future and align humanity with God's purpose today.
For instance, the Bible says in 1 Samuel 3:1-4, 10-11, "Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation. And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow so dim that he could not see, and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the Lord where the ark of God was, and while Samuel was lying down, that the Lord called Samuel. And he answered, "Here I am!" Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel answered, "Speak, for Your servant hears." So then the Lord said to Samuel: "Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle."
The Bible says that there were no visions. The priest in those days was Eli, and even his physical eye was dim. Entire Israel was in disarray. No one knew the plan and purpose of God for the land. Everyone did as they liked, but God stepped in and called on a young man who could see beyond others. God called on Samuel and revealed His purpose and counsel to him. He told Samuel all that He would do in Israel in the years to come. The next day, the old man Eli had to ask Samuel what the Lord said. This is what the outpouring of the Spirit would do. It will position young men and children to hear from God for their families and even the nation.
No wonder the enemy has blinded the eyes of doctors, politicians, and, yes, even expectant mothers who participate in the premature death of the unborn. With such a dynamic promise, is it any wonder that the youth of our time are experiencing the most subtle and sly attacks of the adversary?
By hindering young people's relationship with God, the enemy blocks their ears from hearing God's Word. By binding them with addictions to drugs or alcohol, he prevents them from feeling the peaceful and joyful presence of the Holy Spirit. By keeping them in rebellion, demonic forces prevent them from experiencing the love their parents have for them. But it's time to break free. It's time to pray for these young ones and position them correctly under the mighty hand of God so the Spirit can be poured perfectly on them without measure. So that, like Samuel, they can arise and show the way for their generation.

Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for the promise of your Spirit to these young ones. I pray that every grip of hell on them is broken. I pray that every scheme of the devil over them is destroyed. I pray that through the outpouring of the Spirit, they shall see visions, and they shall understand your purpose for their generation. In Jesus' name. Amen.
