A Place Called Heaven

Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in Heaven, and you on earth; therefore, let your words be few. (Ecclesiastes 5:2)

Heaven, at its core, is an extraordinary realm where the omnipotent and majestic God, the King and Creator of the entire cosmos, resides. This celestial domain, enveloped in divine radiance, is not only the dwelling place of God but also a sanctuary that exudes peace, serenity, and boundless love. As the epicentre of divine existence, Heaven stands as a testament to God's unparalleled power and eternal presence.

In Heaven, the presence of God and our ability to look on Him will occupy our affections, emotions, thoughts, conversations, songs, etc. for ever and ever and ever. Lord Jesus Himself said that eternal life is knowing God (John 17:3).

Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. (Isaiah 66:1). It is also the seat of His government. It is where you will find His Throne.

Heaven is the primary realm of God's angels as well.

But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels in Heaven. (Mark 13:32)

The Bible further tells us, "But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, (Hebrews 12:22)

There are thousands and thousands of angels in Heaven.

Don't ever doubt it. Heaven is a real place; more real than the things that surround you now. Don't let any images of some movies alter your concept of Heaven. It's a real place, just as surely as earth is a real place.

Another interesting thing is that people of all ages, nationalities, social backgrounds, genders and even different religions, including atheists, have had visions of Heaven describing it in detail.

The truth is all those who believe in Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will one day be there. Have you truly surrendered your life to the Lord? Do you invest time reading His Word, praying, and worshipping the Lord of Heaven and Earth? Now is the time to invest in Eternity; don't push it for tomorrow.
