Let My Doors Be Opened

“But during the night an angel of God opened the jailhouse door and led them out.” Acts 5:19 (THE MESSAGE)

There are many scriptural accounts relating to doors. Everything in the scripture is written for our learning. There's a major lesson that God wants us to learn from those accounts relating to doors. The physical realm has a spiritual counterpart, and when you understand this principle, it will help you to walk in the fullness of the blessings of God.

Doors play an important role in the physical realm. By understanding the functions of doors in the physical realm, we can easily discern their functions in the spiritual realm because there are doors in the spiritual realm as well.

Doors can serve as barriers to keep people or things out of reach, and they can also function as points of transition.

What are some of the effects of doors?

1.Doors grant access. Some people complain about visibility in business. They have a great business with amazing products and services, yet there are no clients. Sometimes, it could be that there is a spiritual door that is shut against them or their business.

Let's look at this Scripture,

"Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty — he is the King of glory." (Psalm 24:7-10 NIV)

This scripture reveals that there are spiritual doors, and there was a decree for those doors to be lifted and opened. When you notice that things are not going smoothly and everything looks blocked and locked, what you need to do is pray for your doors to be opened.

2. People experiencing closed doors will face challenges such as no business, difficulties in attracting new business opportunities, no marriage, and many other delays in life. Whenever you experience any of these things, you need to pray to address the issue in the spiritual realm.

"Your gates will always stand open; they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations — their kings led in a triumphal procession." (Isaiah 60:11 NIV)

This scripture reveals that the effect of open doors will lead to wealth. If the doors were shut, it would be impossible for men to bring the wealth of nations to you. It is the will of God for you to enjoy open doors wherever you turn, but ignorance of the realities of spiritual doors can limit what you enjoy.

3. God has the power to open doors shut by the enemy, and any door He opens, the enemy cannot shut. The enemy cannot close the doors opened by God but can prevent you from entering them. The devil is not as powerful as we think. He is a creature of God and is subject to God. He has no right or power to undo anything done by God. There are two powerful wills on earth: i) the will of God, and ii) the will of man. When man's will is in alignment with God's will, it becomes very easy for man to thwart the will of the devil.

"For a wide door of opportunity for effectual [service] has opened to me [there, a great and promising one], and [there are] many adversaries." (1 Corinthians 16:9 AMP)

Apostle Paul realised this spiritual truth that I'm sharing with you. God opened a door for him, but he realised that there were many adversaries around that door that could prevent him from entering and enjoying the open door. Today, I want you to pray fervently for open doors. I strongly believe that after the prayers, you will start seeing changes in your life; new things and opportunities will start showing up.

Repeat every prayer missile till it comes from your heart. Only then move on to the next prayer missile. (Repeat it, personalise it, do this with each prayer point for a minimum 1 minute)

1. By the blood of Jesus, I open every closed door against my life in Jesus' name. (Revelation 3:8)

2. I paralyse any power trying to shut my doors in Jesus' name. (Isaiah 22:22)

3. I bind every adversary of my open doors in Jesus' name. (Matthew 18:18)

4. Father, in this year, open great doors for me in Jesus' name. (1 Corinthians 16:9)

5. Lift up your heads o ye gates, I enter into my doors of blessings, celebration, and glory in Jesus' name. (Psalm 24:7-10)

6. I shut the door of my life against sickness, disease, debt, and evil in Jesus' name. (Revelation 3:7)

7. Oh Lord, show me your mercy and open unto me any door that the enemy has shut against me in Jesus' name. (Luke 1:78-79)

8. My doors, be opened so that the wealth of the nations can come unto me in Jesus' name. (Isaiah 60:11)

9. Angels of God, go to the North, South, East, and West, and open national and international doors of help and blessing for me, my family, and my business in Jesus' name. (Psalm 103:20)

10. I call forth abundance, help, blessings, and glory in Jesus' name. (John 10:10)
