Financial Breakthrough

At Karuna Sadan Ministries, we literally receive hundreds and hundreds of prayer requests on a daily basis. Most of these prayer requests are related to financial issues. These are tough times, but the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Whenever I talk to people, I often hear people say that they are looking for a financial breakthrough. Now it’s very biblical to believe God to intervene in your finances - nothing wrong with that. However, many people miss their financial breakthroughs because they don’t know how to receive it. Please allow me to explain.

#1 Always look to the Lord
Whenever you are praying for a financial breakthrough, you must look to the Lord and only Him alone for a breakthrough.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (James 1:17)

#2 Financial breakthrough also means Divine direction
In Psalm 32:8, the Lord says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go” Be it a career or an investment opportunity or any decision, one word from the Lord can change your story.

In Genesis 26, there was a famine in the land, and Isaac wanted to leave the country. It is at this moment the Lord God appeared to him and told him: “Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you” (Genesis 26:3)

Genesis 26:12-13 tells us, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous.”

This direction from the Lord can come through a dream, a vision, a prophetic word from a man of God or even while reading the word of God.

#3 Financial breakthrough also means pulling down the strongholds of the enemy over your finances.
If you read the book of Job, we see how the devil attacked Job and reduced him to poverty. (Read Job 1) There are many people who experience extreme losses and poverty on account of evil powers. No matter how hard they work, nothing seems to change.

If that’s you, then you need to break the power of the devil through prayer and fasting.

The power of God always intensifies when we come together and pray. (Leviticus 26:8)

Father, place Your hand on my finances. Your Word says that You have given us the ability to generate wealth. Therefore, Lord I trust in Your ability to prosper me. In Jesus’ name, Amen
