These were the sons of the father of Etam: Jezreel, Ishma, and Idbash; and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi (1 Chronicles 4:3)
The name of their sister was Hazelelponi; who, perhaps, was a person of great note in those days, though now unknown; indeed, a Jewish chronologer tells us that the mother of Samson was Hazalelponith, of the tribe of Judah.
And Eshton begot Beth-Rapha, Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir-Nahash. These were the men of Rechah. (1 Chronicles 4:12)
Beth-Rapha means ‘House of Healing’.
