How to listen to the voice of God?

So train your heart (spirit man) to listen when I speak (Proverbs 2:1 TPT)

We must constantly train to hear the voice of God

Yes, if you cry out for insight,

And lift up your voice for understanding (Proverbs 2:3 TPT)

Prayer is the key to receiving insights and understanding of the word

For the Lord has a hidden storehouse of wisdom

made accessible to his godly lovers. (Proverbs 2:7 TPT)

Wisdom is a gift from a generous God. (Proverbs 2:6) Godly wisdom is accessible only to those who walk in intimacy with Him.

He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow his ways,

protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right. (Proverbs 2:8 TPT)

He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you and guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11)

The Lord will guide you where you must go and where you must not. The places where the Lord has told you not go, the angels of God will not follow you.

Differences between Evil and Truth

Evil disguises itself

Truth is always naked

Evil is always sweet

Truth is bitter

You don’t have to search for evil. It is easily accessible

Truth is hidden and you have to diligently search for it

One of the dangers of adultery

and all the men who go through her doors

will never come back to the place they were (Proverbs 2:19 TPT)

The word clearly says that those who indulge in adultery will never be able to reach the place or position they were at once. frightening !

Follow those who follow wisdom and stay on the right path.

There are people who say, “I don’t follow any man or woman” It sounds very good; very dramatic. However, the bible clearly tells us about the need for a good mentor. When you follow those who follow wisdom you can be sure you are on the right path.
