The Complete Solution to Iniquity

“Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity.” (Psalm 32:1–2)

There is a kind of blessing that money cannot buy, success cannot give, and relationships cannot replace it is the blessing of being forgiven by God. To know that your past is not held against you, that your failures are not counted this is true freedom.

Many people carry guilt silently. They smile outside, but inside, they are burdened. This verse reminds us that God offers something powerful: complete forgiveness and a clean record.

A Shocking Realisation

A man once shared a dream that is both disturbing and deeply revealing.

He saw Jesus tied to a post, being whipped mercilessly. The lashes were tearing into His flesh. Unable to bear the sight, the man rushed forward to stop the one who was whipping Jesus. But when he grabbed the man’s hand and turned to see his face… he saw himself.

That is a picture of humanity.

“All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, everyone, to his own way;And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6)

We often think sin is just about “bad actions.” But the truth is, sin is deeper it is our nature to go our own way. And yet, God did something extraordinary: He placed all our iniquity on Jesus.

The problem of sin is not small, so the solution cannot be ordinary.

Not just any sacrifice would do. A perfect sacrifice was required one that could fully pay the price for every person, once and for all. That is why Jesus came.

“It was a perfect sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people.” (Hebrews 10:14–25 Msg)

This is the beauty of the Gospel. We were imperfect, but He was perfect. And through Him, we are made right.

Wounds and Bruises

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.” (Isaiah 53:5)

There is a powerful distinction here.

A wound is visible it is on the surface. These represent our outward sins, the things people can see.

But a bruise is internal it goes deeper. This speaks of iniquity, the hidden struggles, the thoughts, the patterns no one else knows about.

Jesus did not just deal with what is seen He dealt with what is buried deep within us.

At an incredible personal cost, the Father has provided a solution to our sin problem. But here is the truth we still have a choice.

We can receive it, or we can reject it.

Salvation is not automatic; it is personal. It must be accepted and applied.

A Brand New Beginning

If you choose to receive what Jesus has done, something supernatural takes place in your life:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

This is not just a verse it is a reality.

Your past is gone. Your guilt is removed. Your identity is changed.

You are no longer defined by who you were but by who you are in Christ.
