I NEED A MIRACLE
"Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.” (Acts 3:16 NLT)
Miracles are God's supernatural acts displayed in the natural realm that defy human explanations. Miracles cannot be explained; they are something enjoyed by men through the power of God. At one point or the other in our lives, we have enjoyed miracles.
Throughout the earthly ministry of Jesus, we see miracles operating in his life. Miracles were a normal thing for him. The apostles also operated with miracles. When a poisonous snake jumped on Paul's hand, people thought he would die, but he did not (Acts 28:4-6). He experienced a miracle. God allowed miracles to be done through the hand of Jesus and the apostles.
Even in the Old Testament, we see diverse kinds of miracles. Today, our prayer focus is centred on praying down the miracle power of God into our lives. I do not know where you need a miracle, but I pray and believe that you will get a miracle this season in Jesus' name.
Why do people need miracles?
- They need miracles when their human strength is failing them.
- They need miracles when the battle is tough against them.
- They need miracles when there is no hope when all hope is lost.
- They need a miracle when they have a deadline to meet.
- They need a miracle when things are working against them, and they cannot explain the mystery of why things are working against them.
- People need miracles when they are at the point of shame and ridicule.
- People need a miracle when they are faced with a life-threatening disease.
- People need miracles when there is a need for provision.
- People need miracles when there is nobody to help. I've heard of cases where people were kidnapped, and there was no help for them, but a miracle showed up and they returned to their loved ones unharmed.
What are the things to do when you need a miracle?
1. Build up your faith. You can see from our anchor Scripture that the disciples had faith in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is miraculous in nature because the Scripture says that his name shall be called wonderful, which means a miracle. Isaiah 9:6
So, build up your faith in God and in the name of Jesus Christ because that is what will generate the miracle for the moment.
2. Expect a miracle. You must expect a miracle. Don't expect a problem. Don't expect shame. Don't expect death. No matter what is happening in the physical realm, expect God's intervention.
3. You must expect a miracle. The Scripture says your expectations shall not be cut short (Proverbs 23:18). So if you are not expecting a miracle, it will be difficult for you to enjoy a miracle.
4. Pray for a miracle. Prayer cuts across all things that you will ever need. Prayer is a master key that is needed for open doors. You must pray for a miracle.
5. Give thanks and worship. When Jesus was about to multiply the bread and the fish, he gave thanks (John 6:11). Thanksgiving can trigger miracles.
Worship, praise and thanksgiving can trigger miracles. When Paul and Silas were in the prison, they prayed and sang praises unto God, and there was an earthquake. That earthquake was a miracle (Acts 16:25-26). You must learn to release that sound that will attract the presence of God. In times when you're in need and difficulties, the more you complain, the more the miracle is far away from you.
You don't need to know how it will be done. Just expect God to step in and help you.
Prayer
Repeat every prayer missile till it comes from your heart. Only then move on to the next prayer missile. (Repeat it, personalise it, do this with each prayer point for a minimum 1 minute)

5. Throughout this year, I shall enjoy a miracle in my finances and in all areas of my life in Jesus' name. (Deuteronomy 28:12)
6. Father, make a way where there is no way for me in Jesus' name. (Isaiah 43:19)
7. In the name of Jesus, I walk in miracles, I walk in victory, I walk in abundance, in Jesus' name. (3 John 1:2)
8. Any closed door against my life is opened right now in the name of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 3:8)
9. Father, open new doors for me, the doors of blessing, doors of elevation, doors of increase in Jesus' name. (Psalm 84:11)
