Your pursuers think that they are gaining over you but they are being set up by the LORD (Exodus 14:1-4)
Fear Affects Your Confession
And the Israelites were exceedingly frightened and cried out to the Lord. (Exodus 14:10)
And they said to Moses, Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you treated us this way and brought us out of Egypt?
Did we not tell you in Egypt, Let us alone; let us serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness. (Exodus 14:11-12)
What made them talk in this manner?
It was their fear. Fear will make you talk in a manner that is not in line with the Word of God.
How do you know there is fear inside of you?
Just listen to the way one speaks, and you will know whether they are walking in fear or faith. Anger also will make you say some very unpleasant things as well.
Confession
The LORD will fight for me, and I shall hold my peace (Exodus 14:14)
