In the greatness of Your majesty, You overthrow those rising against You. You send forth Your fury; it consumes them like stubble. (Exodus 15:7)
Your right hand, O Lord, is glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy. (Exodus 15:6)
Prayer: Father, in the greatness of Your majesty overthrow those rising against me, my family and ministry. Send forth Your fury until; it consumes them like stubble. In Jesus’ name.
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue,
I will overtake,
I will divide the spoil;
My desire shall be satisfied on them.
I will draw my sword,
My hand shall destroy them. (Exodus 15:9)
What is the enemy saying?
The enemy said:
- I will pursue
- I will overtake
- I will divide the spoil
- My desire shall be satisfied upon them
- I will draw my sword
- My hand shall destroy them.

“Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like You, glorious in holiness,
Fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Exodus 15:11)
So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” (Exodus 15:22-24)
Here we see the people murmuring and complaining. Just three days before they had seen God open the Red sea for them. They had walked through the Red Sea on dry land. Their enemies the Egyptians were drowned in the same Red Sea. They had danced before the LORD with the timbrel and now they were murmuring. From the sound of the timbrel to the sound of murmuring – what a change in just three days
This shows the fickle nature of man. How soon man forgets the goodness of God. How soon man forgets all the things that God has worked for him in the past. There are some of us, we would not have been alive had it not been for the LORD.
