“Now it came to pass, when all the people had completely crossed over the Jordan, that the Lord spoke to Joshua…”— Joshua 4:1 (NKJV)
Say it with faith: “God, speak to me!”
There are moments when Heaven holds its breath, waiting for you to act. Many of us are longing to hear God speak—yet God is saying, “Do this, and I will speak to you.”
It’s time to examine: What is God waiting on you for?
He didn’t speak to Joshua before the crossing. He waited until Israel had fully stepped out in obedience and crossed the Jordan. Only then did His next instruction come.
Let this truth sink in:
Some divine instructions are waiting on your action.
⚡ Action Unlocks Revelation
You may be praying, “Lord, speak to me!” But the Lord is waiting for you to obey the last instruction He gave you.
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.”— Isaiah 1:19 (NKJV)
Obedience is the key to unlock the next revelation. Delay in action may delay your breakthrough.
Crossing to the Other Side: The Jesus Model
One day, Jesus was walking by the Jordan, near the Sea of Galilee. Perhaps they had passed by this familiar area many times. But on that day, Jesus turned to His disciples and said:
“Let us go over to the other side.”— Mark 4:35 (NIV)
The disciples might have hesitated:
- “Lord, why go there?”
- “That’s Gentile territory!”
- “There are unclean pigs on that side!”
- “It’s unfamiliar. It's uncomfortable!”
So many doubts. So many questions.
But Jesus still said, “Let’s go.”
And what happened when they arrived?
They were met by a man possessed with 2,000 demons. With one word, Jesus cast them out.
“For He said to him, ‘Come out of the man, unclean spirit!’”—Mark 5:8 (NKJV)
Nowhere else in the Bible do we read of Peter, Paul, or any apostle casting out that many demons at once. Only Jesus. Why? Because He was willing to cross over.
There are some lessons God can only teach you on the other side.
Delayed Obedience is Disobedience
Look at someone and say: “You’re waiting too long!”
Many are standing on the edge of breakthrough, but fear is holding them back. The command has been given, but the action is pending. God is saying: “If you just take that step, a divine word is waiting for you.”
That word can come:
- Directly from God through your spirit (Romans 8:14)
- Through a pastor or prophet (2 Chronicles 20:20)
- Through a dream or a vision (Job 33:14–15)
But the key is obedience.
A Deliverance Anointing Awaits
When Jesus cast out those demons, something powerful happened. That man was completely transformed. The Bible tells us: “He went away and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him, and all marveled.”— Mark 5:20 (NKJV)
That one deliverance gave birth to a regional ministry. Ten cities were impacted by the testimony of one man—because Jesus said, “Let’s go,” and they obeyed.
What testimony is waiting to be birthed from your obedience?
God is Ready to Act—What’s Holding You Back?
Now this may sound like physics—but it’s spiritual truth!
“And being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”—2 Corinthians 10:6 (NKJV)
Let that verse sink in: God is ready to punish all disobedience—not before—but when your obedience is fulfilled.
So many believers are quick to blame everything on witchcraft:
- “Pastor, there’s witchcraft!”
- “There’s black magic!”
- “There’s Japanese craft and Minecraft!” 😅
Yes, spiritual warfare is real. But let’s not make the devil bigger than he is.
God is not a small deity sitting in the backyard.
He is GOD—G-O-D!
If you are walking in the will of God:
- Demons must bow.
- Doors will open.
- Miracles will follow.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”— James 4:7 (KJV)
Church, the power is not in your volume—it’s in your obedience and alignment to God’s Word.
Somebody shout: “Hallelujah!”
What’s Standing Between You and God?
Let’s get real.
What’s that one thing standing between you and God?
Today, it has to go.
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God…”— Isaiah 59:2 (NKJV)
Maybe it’s lust—one of the silent killers of spiritual destiny. Many people called by God suffer in silence, unable to share or seek help.
It has to go.
Look at someone and declare: “It has to go!”
Maybe it's:
- Anger
- Unforgiveness
- Manipulation
- Pride
- Laziness
People who manipulate others may succeed temporarily, but they are never truly established.
Whatever it is, hear the Word of the Lord: “Remove it, and I will speak to you.”
Are You Ready?
Today, God is saying, “My child, I am ready to act—but I am waiting on you.”
The question is: What are you waiting for?
- Step out.
- Cross over.
- Lay aside the weight.
- And listen closely…
A divine word is waiting for you on the other side.
